Where Fellowship and Song Hold Sway

Jim Dodge
Jim Dodge was introduced to barbershop harmony fifty years ago and it was the beginning of his love affair with this style of music. In this past half century, Jim has sung in both serious and comedy quartets, directed men's and women's choruses ranging in size from 12 to 75 members, and garnered awards for his work with these groups.

He has shared in starting three choruses from scratch, one of them being the Yankee Clipper Chorus. He has tirelessly given of his time to teach and coach all over the Northeast and is currently heading up a group dedicated to improving music education for barbershoppers throughout the Northeastern District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Beyond these personal accomplishments, Jim will tell you his happiest and proudest moments come when he watches his two daughters, Debbie Borsari and Wendy McCoole, direct their own choruses or sing in their quartet. And these ladies can sing.

Jim now brings his love of singing and the barbershop style of music to the Yankee Clipper Chorus. We can only be better for it.
